1. Overview
The HR & Compliance Retainer is a monthly engagement that gives your business a dedicated HR & compliance partner. We handle day-to-day employee documentation, statutory submissions, policy maintenance, and act as your first point of contact for labour matters — so you can focus on running the business.
2. Services Included
- Drafting and review of employment contracts (LRA & BCEA compliant)
- HR policy pack — disciplinary code, leave, grievance, social media, POPIA
- Onboarding & offboarding documentation
- Disciplinary & grievance advisory (telephonic + email)
- CCMA case preparation & representation (per tier — see below)
- Employment Equity (EE) reporting & submissions
- Skills Development reporting (WSP / ATR)
- UIF, COIDA & Department of Labour compliance support
- Monthly HR health-check report
- Update of contracts & policies as legislation changes
3. Retainer Tiers
Small Business
R950 / month
Up to 5 employees · contracts, policies, telephonic advisory
Medium Business
R2,500 / month
Up to 20 employees · all of the above + EE/WSP submissions
Intermediate
R6,500 / month
Up to 50 employees · CCMA representation included (capped)
4. Service Levels
- Initial response to email/WhatsApp queries within 1 business day
- Drafting of standard contracts within 3 business days
- Disciplinary advisory call within 24 hours of request
- Monthly check-in meeting (virtual)
5. Exclusions
- Labour Court representation
- Bargaining council disputes outside scope
- Payroll processing (available as add-on under Accounting retainer)
- Travel costs for on-site CCMA appearances outside Gauteng
6. Terms
- Minimum engagement: 6 months
- Billed monthly in advance via debit order or EFT
- 30-day notice period after the initial 6 months
- All work governed by our standard Master Services Agreement
